Senior Producer

7 Years Exp. On-site - Chicago

Posted 2 weeks ago

All Access Media produces daily live programming and video-on-demand for a national financial media network. We're hiring a Senior Producer on contract for a hybrid role that spans both sides of the operation: supporting the daily linear broadcast, and owning the digital pipeline that turns it into published video.

Role Description

On the linear side, you'll work alongside an established production team — helping steer scheduling, weighing in on editorial, and providing support in-show. On the digital side, you'll own the handoff from broadcast to published: approvals, packaging, light editing, and getting video out the door on time and on standard. You'll also produce All Access Media's in-house podcast slate end to end.

This is a hands-on job and is on-site in Chicago, Monday through Friday.

Linear / broadcast

Partner with the line producer on daily rundowns, timing, and show flow Help own the production schedule across a multi-show slate — crew, studio, hosts, and contributors Weigh in on editorial: segment order, guest bookings, and how the team responds when the market moves Provide in-show support from the control room alongside the technical director and directing team Step in to cover line producing when the schedule requires it

Digital / VOD

Own the pipeline from live broadcast to published video: selects, cutdowns, timestamps, and publish timing Review and approve videos and clips against channel standards before they go live Handle light editing and assembly — trims, cutdowns, and fixes without waiting on a full edit cycle Partner with the digital team on YouTube packaging and channel strategy Track performance and bring what you learn back into the next show

Podcast

Produce All Access Media's in-house podcast slate end to end — scheduling, prep, and studio coordination

Run point on record days: guest wrangling, run-of-show, and in-studio support

Manage post: editing, assembly, and getting episodes packaged and published on schedule

Keep episodes on brand and on standard across audio and video versions

Preferred Financial news or business media experience — markets literacy is a real advantage Hands-on YouTube channel experience: packaging, publishing cadence, and what drives a channel Working knowledge of rundown and production software (ENPS, iNEWS, Cuez, or similar) Podcast production experience across audio and video Experience with short-form clipping and social distribution

Qualifications

  • 7+ years producing video, with meaningful time in live production and digital production
  • Control room experience and the temperament for live: calm, decisive, quick on your feet, adaptable to last minute changes
  • Strong editorial judgment
  • Comfortable in Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable) for light editing and cutdowns
  • Savvy with YouTube analytics
  • Proven ability to manage schedules and coordinate across production, editorial, and talent
  • Collaborative by default
